  I went to Dr. Aslies office for a job interview. I got a call from missy the office receptionist to come in for a interview. I went in for my interview and it seemed like it went well. (By missy) I'm not sure what her position is over there . She told me does it all. And that this position became available because the previous girl had gotten pregnant and had her child and decided that she wasn't going to be coming back to work. Few hours later missy called me and left me a voicemail asking me to come back for a second interview for the next day. And to bring my certificate because she forgot to ask for it the first interview. This is where I feel like I was not hired because of personal reasons rather then a professional reason. I was expecting my second interview to be with either the doctor him self or someone who is actually in the profession in the medical field or even someone who works in the same office. But I was interviewed by Dr Aslies wife's office manager who works for (his wife) and has no knowledge about anything when it came to interviewing me as a medical assistant for the position being offered. She was unqualified to interview me for the position. She asked me basic questions about my previous employment and asked me if I had any questions. I asked her if she knew what I what would be doing as far as my duties for Dr Aslie. She said she had no idea and that I should ask missy. And that was my whole interview. She had no idea what was happening there in his practice to even explain about a simple thing I asked about the position. again I had to remind her that I have my certificate on me and would she like to make a copy of it and she said no thank you I trust that it's a real thing . I'm actually glad I am not working for them . Very unprofessional place....so I ended going on yelp and reading their reviews and it actually seems like they have HORRIBLE reviews from patients as well... His wife is in charge of who he hires and fires and who he is allowed to be around her husband for 8 hours a day. Why else would I get screened by her and her manager? She is a attorney in the same building but in a different suite that connects to his suite but I don't see why I was not interviewed by the doctor Him self or his medical team for my second interview. Or at least someone who is qualified to do a simple interview.
